ive noticed that the majority of my music collection is made up of music that isn't exactly uplifting and happy.

Does anybody have any suggestions for Good albums that are joyful and uplifting?

Thank you.

MJ! Off The Wall and Thriller!

Cut/Copy is pretty happy - try In Ghost colours or Zonoscope

Vampire Weekend's debut!

Woooohooo!!!

Stevie wonder is a happy and joyous one!

Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience!

I See A Darkness by Bonnie Prince Billy. Okay not really that last.

What requires music to be happy? Does it have to do with the music or does it have to do with the lyrics? Ah, what the hell, I'll just list albums that remind me to be happy:

Let It Be by The Replacements

Emergency & I by The Dismemberment Plan

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips

Lonerism by Tame Impala

Parklife by Blur

Sung Tongs by Animal Collective

Vampire Weekend by Vampire Weekend

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison

The Lemon Of Pink by The Books

The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place by E...In The Sky

m b v by My Bloody Valentine

Screamadelica by Primal Scream

The Wild Hunt by The Tallest Man On Earth

You Can't Hide Your Love Forever by Orange Juice

What. Laughing

Astral Weeks is honestly one of the saddest albums I've ever heard.

Grrrrr. But, yes, this. Very much this.

Cross Paths by The Motifs

Maybe it can be sort of melancholy, but it makes me intensely happy. A very sort of content hopeful feeling.

True Romance by Charli XCX

Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts by M83

Kind of exhilarating. Sort of enhances any mood you currently have though it mostly feels happy.

Ceres & Calypso In The Deep Time by Candy Claws

Adventure, discovery, mystery - all happy!

Crazy For You by Best Coast

Yeah maybe the lyrics are sorta sad but it makes me feel good regardless.
