Oh man, I love Leonard Cohen. This isn't quite Songs of Leonard Cohen or Songs From A Room, but this album is still fantastic, from Cohen's streak that was almost late-60s-early-70s Dylan-like where he could just do no wrong. Some of the best songwriting you'll hear and back when Cohen could actually carry a tune. _________________ 2023 Chart
This album is legendary, immaculate, smoldering and sexy and scary and beautiful and adventurous and stupendously dark at times. It's far and away my favorite Cohen album.
