"Beach House are like Real Estate with more interesting walls and paint to watch dry."
-Me trying to be witty six months ago.

I remember really liking this album in 2010, and even though it's easy for me to crack jokes like the above today, this is their least paint-dry-y album to me. I especially like that "Walk in the Park" song.

i have a t-shirt of a big blue eye with luscious lashes that says Teen Dream in really loopy cursive font that's really really soft and just a bit too big for me. it's comfy, but it's kinda faded and i don't really ever remember i'm wearing it once i put it on.

This album is so strange to me. I enjoy it on a track-by-track basis, but I seldom listen to it all the way through. Still, every song here is incredible.

Track picks
3. Norway
4. Walk In The Park
5. Used To Be
10. Take Care

Truly one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. It's warm soft love captured in music. And "Take Care" was for years my favorite song. It actually still may be my all time favorite song. Nothing communicates positively amazing love like "Take Care".

Ooh, I forgot about that. That's one of my top 100 favorite album-tracks ever, so maybe this is a notable release.
