Why the topic? Cause I really dislike the Radiohead fanbase on BEA. Yeah, I said it! 90% of charts with the most albums by Radiohead are skippable, and their fans randomly skyrocket their albums, so The Bends ends as the best album of 95' and A Moon Shaped Pool the best of 2016. Duhhh Also I've found that those annoying people on BEA who give extremely bad ratings and/or rude comments usually think Radiohead are gods.
And I really love Radiohead people! These guys just get on my nerves.
I can think of several more bands/fanbases like Tool (Not me! No! OTHER Tool fans!), Muse, and of course many mainstream stuff like Bieber and Beyonce, One Direction...
Anything or anyone that has a fanbase has the annoying side. I don't know too many, but look at My Chemical Romance. I like the band, but WOAH the fanbase is gar-bage.
I saw Misfits T-Shirts at Walmart the other day. I'd say bands that become bRands are annoying. I never know if somebody wearing a Misfits shirt is actually a punk music fan, or just an edgy teenager. Also guys or gals in punk vests at concerts who think they're cooler than everyone else because they have a jacket with patches on it. Odds are they have seen about 30 percent of the bands that are on the jacket.

I actually ask. 90% of the time they have no idea who the Misfits or The Ramones or CBGBs even are. I'm always hoping & I still excited when I see the t-shirts. Especially on cute girls. lol.
Like many thread subjects on this website, this is highly subjective. Mostly everyone will have a different artist here.
To generalize a bit, the one type of fan-base, or fan to individualize the phenomenon, that bugs me the most are those that completely love an artist and can't at all "objectively" see any flaw in said artist. I just find that illogically bizarre. This reminds me of a roommate i had in college who thought everything motley crue touched was gold and they had such a huge range across their albums... Another friend loved everything van halen touched and only after i knew him for about a decade did he admit he didn't like the "extreme van halen" stuff as much as their other music. I assume this phenomenon to grow in an age where everyone increasingly lives exclusively in their own internet and media bubble. _________________ fav artists NOW | ALL-TIME favs | i listen 2 more music than u so u don't have 2!
