Apologies to everyone who was left out! I was planning to ping users who usually participate if we still needed nominations but that ended up not being the case. In retrospect 2 nominations per user would have been a better start - I'll keep that in mind for the 2019 tourney.
I'll be closing the play-ins in about 5 hours, at which point I'll post the initial brackets. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.

Yeah, a PM would have been helpful. Think Saorise and BayState often send ‘em out to the long-established users/old timers who had they been aware would have participated at the drop of a hat...
It is what it is though. I’ll just revel in the knowledge that Emotinium would have cleaned up anyway. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

Yeah I'll agree sometimes I'm not paying enough attention and appreciate when I get the PM to let me know.
No harm/no foul (easy for me to say I guess since I got my noms).
If you really want to play I'm sure a few of us would be willing to give up a nom? Spread the love enough and nobody has to give up much, but then allows for more to participate/more diverse stuff. Would that be allowed?

Yeah I think I was just too wary of going over 64 songs. I'm not opposed to reopening nominations and adding a few more play-ins but at the same time the line has to be drawn somewhere. I don't want to ask users to give up nominations because of a mistake I made so I'm going to split the difference and follow-up with folks who commented in this thread and see if they'd like to toss in their picks (lucky for you all I'm from the Midwest and am terrible at being assertive). Hope to have a few more songs by this time tomorrow so I can get some matches up tomorrow evening. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.

I’m willing to give up my 3rd nom (Anna Von Hausswolff’s song) to whoever wants to nominate their favourite, if that’s not too much work babyblue! I had about 10 song list for my 3rd nom, and I ended up going with “The Truth, The Glow, The Fall”, but the more I think about it the more I see that it’s not a good choice for a singles tournament. Fantastic song on an even better album though, certainly give it a listen. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

How many more songs are needed? Best to not !et this drag on, even if getting more people involved would be nice

Well I’ll chuck in 3, in order of preference, so if you could shoehorn in any or all of the following that’d be swell:
Roy Of The Ravers - Emotinium
The Chats - Smoko
Sufjan Stevens - Death With Dignity (would have put higher but see someone’s already nominated a C&L track. Had to include it though for purely sentimental reasons) _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing
