Another absolutely brilliant spanish language album that's getting ignored on AOTD. Shame. Café Tacuba's cool, this record's hard to pin down, genre pastiching rock with this manic ness that wouldn't feel out of place on a ween record (and not just cause of the mollusk on the cover).

this is a cool album. don't remember the deets. but iirc its a really solid and subtly adventurous rock album.

but real question, why is the "mv" a "u" here and its reversed on rate your music?

yoooo when did BEA expand the AOTD algorithm? I remember for the longest time it would just kinda cycle through the top 200 or so albums. much prefer seeing Cafe Tacuba show up haha.

yeah excellent album, "subtly adventurous" is a good way to put it. a lot of really creative if not downright experimental shit going on here but firmly grounded in a deliciously anachronistic stew of equal parts traditional and contemporary popular music
