Ok another album.
It's the weekend so I've more time!

# 2182.

Room 25 by Noname

I had never heard of this artist but I find Noname to be an excellent and talented rapper.

I don't know a lot of rap music. I just know the basics but this is great. A short album but the flow and the lyrics are pertinent and mellow.

What can I say? It's a nice listen. Will definitely listen to this again.

# 2185.

New Bermuda by Deafheaven

Now this is a very good album.
Not my usual genre to listen to, but this one seems special.
Great way to start the day for me.

# 2192.

Two Hands by Big Thief

I am not sure what to make of this album. Big Thief are definitely talented. I will say I enjoyed this album more than U.F.O.F. but not nearly as much as the terrific Dragon New Warm Mountain...

Like I say this band has talent. And a very charismatic lead singer and songwriter in Adrianne Lenker.

It is a good album, though not always an easy listen.
I would listen to it again though.

Hi Guys,

It's been a while.
OK I'll dive straight in. Here's today's pick:

#. 2035

Red Medicine by Fugazi

I'm jumping back through the chart a bit. I looked back, and I'd missed this one.

Glad I found it, as it's a dynamic album.
At first I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I got into it as it played.
I can see how it would've been an influential album.
I'm glad this one didn't get away!

Parallelograms by Linda Perhacs

This was entirely new to me and it's a beautiful album. Ms Perhacs has a terrific voice and writes her own songs.
I like discovering new music, or at least new to my ears. This album initially came out in 1970 but vanished almost without trace, but later became a cult album.
It's really good and well worth a listen.
Worked really well late at night.

Wow!
Yes, very nice voice.
I might never have known this existed save for your post.
Thank you!

Hi guys, been a while.
Not got a lot of time at the moment but I had a spare 33 minutes to listen to the next album I haven't heard in the Overall Chart:

#. 2058

Human by Death (Metal)

This was a very intriguing and arresting album.
Not the sort of music I'd normally listen to. I like a couple of Sabbath albums, ok maybe 3 or 4, and a little of Iron Maiden, when it comes to metal.
But I'm open minded.

At first it was an assault on the senses. However it was not a bad experience. I even got to like it, and headbanged a couple of times.

I was reading 'Danse Macabre' by Stephen King at the same time. A book about horror stories.
Seemed to go with the music.

I deliberately didn't read anything about the album so I could form my own impression.

I can see how you can get a release and a rush of adrenaline from albums such as this.
I found it both exciting and alive.
At other times it lacked variety.
But overall I'm glad I checked it out.

Glow On by Turnstile

Not my cup of tea.
I appreciate they have talent but this kind of modern punk doesn't appeal to me.
Might be my age.
I can see it being attractive to younger folk.

#.2091:

In Ghost Colours by Cut Copy

This was a pretty good Aussie indie dance album.
It lifted my mood and was a pleasant way to spend an hour.
