Yay! My second favorite Beatles album. I actually think its as cohesive as any of their other work, for some reason. It's always worked as an albm to me.

This, down to a tittle. It's even my second favourite Beatles album.
One of my favorites of the beatles (4th). It is so lovefull, colorful and.... Beatles. "Penny Lanne", "Strawberry fields forever" are my favorites. Oooh when i was young i remember to sang "Hello Goodbye" to my classmates in school. And yeah... for me is better than "Help" _________________ Top 100 Hits you must hear before the u... of beauty
I love it a ton, it's my third favorite Beatles album and in my top 100. It's fantastic. "Fool On The Hill" is one of my favorite Beatles songs. _________________ 2023 Chart
The singles at the end feel like just that, singles thrown together. Although, I do like have "All You Need Is Love" as a closing track. Also I just need to add that I like "Strawberry Fields Forever" but I really don't see it as one of the Beatles best songs and I really can't understand why it is as acclaimed as it is. Seems like a totally chill, yet average song. What am I missing here? _________________

It's just totally majestic. It's like the world stops when the vocals come in, and then the drums pound and you know everything is going to OK and then the guitar slides in and you're "going tooooo..." and you feel fucking magnificent and like the only person in the world. Possibly my favourite Beatles song. "Living is easy with eyes closed".

I agree with this.
I like this album a lot, I enjoy listening to this.
But it wasn't made for a real LP. The double EP, the A-side of the soundtrack album is a killer, I like every songs on it and it's brilliant. The B-side of the album is maybe the best couple of singles together ever released? It's great but comparing to the A-side it's very different. It doesn't hold together that well.
It's only my 6th or 7th favourite albums by the Beatles, it's a very good record but it doesn't come up to the greatness of albums like Revolver, Rubber Soul or The White Album.

This.
Also, check out John's acoustic demo on the second Anthology collection. When you hear him sing it unaccompanied on his guitar, there is an intimacy that the heavily-produced version lacks. I'm honestly not sure which version I prefer.
