Post subject: Chart nominations for the "User Pick of the Day"
EDIT: Re-opened, but only for nominations from users who haven't already done so (no more confirms).
Seems like folks are pretty positive about the User Pick of the Day (formerly Expert Pick of the Day) idea, so let's start nominating some charts. Here's the way it's going to work:
- Each user gets two nominations and one confirmation (three votes in total). This means that you can pick two new charts that you'd like to nominate and second the nomination of one chart that has already been nominated.
- Once a chart has been confirmed (or seconded), it is officially on the list and there is no need to third or fourth it.
- All charts are fair game, including custom, decade, and year charts.
- I'll update this post as nominations and confirmations come in.
- Please do not nominate or confirm one of your own charts.
I'll start things off by nominating the top vote-getter from the BEUAs:
- Feel free to continue discussion of the idea at the above link. In particular, I'm open to other suggestions for the name ("User Pick of the Day" is kinda bland). I just wanted to get this thing going. There's no reason we can't make adjustments on the fly, if necessary.
- For the most part, charts from active forum users would be better because the chart-maker can then comment on their pick. This is not a rule, however. I think The Poe's overall (thanks to DBZ for salvaging it) should be fair game for a nomination.
