Paolo Fresu isn't a huge name, even in Jazz, but this disc indicates he sure deserves to be. His composition is magnificent and his horn beautifully blends into the melodies and harmonies presented. His partnership with pianist Omar Sosa is always fruitful, but this one really shines. Bassist Jacques Morelenbaum perfectly and seamlessly rounds out the ensemble. Beautiful music.
