Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.1/100, a mean average of 72.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.6.

Confesso que terei que ouvir mais vezes para gostar, mas, de primeira impressão, achei legal.

Not my favorite YES album, perhaps #6. The tracks are well played as usual, but they are no so memorable.
A small step up from the debut album. But again, the best was yet to come!
There's a little more going on in this album than is obvious at first Whilst Yes do not have their ultimate lineup (missing Steve Howe and Rick Wakemam), this is an important transitionary album, and very progressive with more than a little infusion of psychedelia. Some say that the orchestral work in combination does not fit in well - I beg to differ. I think potentially the problem lies when comparing the quality of production and sound between this and the hugely successful Yes Album, Fragile and CTTE. These follow up albums are undeniably where Yes were at their peak. Time and a Word, however, is a classic timepiece in its own right. Anderson, Squire and Bruford show their raw talent here. Banks on the guitars and Kaye on the organs/pianos also have great moments and balance it all out really well. I think this is where Yes had a stronger focus on rock, but they experimented with their jazz and classical elements to great effect. Highlights are Then, Sweet Dreams, Astral Traveller and the title track.
Great prog album by Yes. These guys never disappoints. The title track might be top 3 Yes track of all time.

Nice album actually bit like the nice in parts but not really so yeah. Anyways a while since I heard this and it's much enjoyment. Vinyl sounding good, not sure if original press but cover being attacked by mold. Love the pre wakeman heavy Hammond. Bass in yr face. Top vox. And some wonderful production.
Track 5 -7 are really weak but the rest is good. The final track's a little cheesy but cheesy has never bothered me much. It's mostly a great song.
The orchestration was unnecessary and the instrumentation doesn't entice me. The songs themselves, though are pretty good. Underrated.

It is not really bad, but it says a lot that where it is actually beautiful the tune is by Stephen Stills.

Great progressive album
