Side 1 and Side 2 are completely different because guitarist Randy Holden decided to split during the recording of this album. Side 1 is not so great while side 2 (the Randy Holden side) has some masterpieces in the vein of heavy psych. While the band’s performance of Fruit & Iceburgs is fantastic here, the version on Holden’s solo album “Population II” may be slightly superior as it is a true example of early doom metal... my opinion is to just listen to side 2 (the Holden side/Peace of Mind, Fruit & Iceburgs, and Honey Butter Lover).
