The 1970s were the height of Erasmo Carlos in terms of creativity and classic records. This is a kind of a transition album, with some leftovers from the Jovem Guarda movement (the Brazilian pop/rock revolution), some influence from the more experimental Tropicália (there's a cover of Caetano Veloso's "Saudosismo", but this is more bossa nova inspired), some samba ("Coqueiro Verde" sounds a lot like Jorge Ben), but it mostly consists of very soft ballads. His next records would be way better, but this one deserves to be remembered.
