If you like latin jazz, then you will like this.
Cal Tjader wasn't latin; he was however probably the most highly regarded non-latino band leader of a latin jazz group.
Cal Tjader primarily played the vibraphone, an instrument struck with mallets somewhat like the xylophone or marimba.
