Its hard to imagine an album better exemplifying its genre than this album. If you're looking for blues, this is as good as it gets. (Edited)

Unbelievably strong vocals. This album is over 50 years old and still sounds great, which is hard to accomplish. Timeless. (Edited)

I find the only compilations to be allowed on top charts are records made from collections of songs recorded during the singles era like this one. Howlin' Wolf is a harmonica playing legend of the blues and these low quality recordings only add to this album's charm. My favorite blues record from the 50s hands down. Not as dancy as Chuck Berry and Little Richard... and he plays harmonica. (Edited)
