It is a pity that they were just one of many short-lived bands (1969-1971), whose talent was obvious, and the emphasis in music was on a combination of wind and acoustic instruments. The band members deliberately ignored the electronic music. instruments, (even using a double bass instead of a bass guitar) and performing a synthesis of light jazz arrangements with folk that was obviously not popular in those years, which nevertheless was incredibly interesting.
The first album of this British folk quintet gave us some great moments. But I would like to mention first of all the excellent version of Nature Boy, with the inventive flute by Brian Creswell, in the middle part, who is replaced by Don Partridge, playing the vibraphone solo. Written back in 1948 (by Eden Akhbez), it has seen many different interpretations in its time. But this one is undoubtedly one of the most original... (Edited)
