As a pre-teen, I had a major crush on Laurie Partridge (Susan Dey), and I begged my parents for the cash necessary to purchase this album. It had the hit single, "I Think I Love You" and everything was right with the world. I didn't really care that Laurie or the other Partridges weren't actually singing or playing on the album. It had the pictures of the cute and adorable Laurie with the album and that was all that was needed to make me enjoy spending time while this album spun in constant rotation! I wasn't very sophisticated back then, (not that I'm much more in the 21st Century) but hearing it today brings back memories of less complicated times - and sometimes its the escapism needed to get through another day.

one of the first two albums i ever owned... given to me and my sister for christmas along with Meet The Brady Bunch and our first turntable :-)
