Stuck this on for the fabulous "Forget You" and found, to my surprise, the whole album is full of good tunes

Tracks 2 (which reminds me a bit of Billie Jean) & 3 are fantastic. And while I love this style, I feel Amy Winehouse did the almost motown sound a bit better, and the rest of this album is just missing something. I want to say it's on par with Marvin Gaye/Otis Redding, and other greats, but it falls a little short.
I like this album. It has some fun catchy pop tunes.

This dude is a pop genius, with just enough funk/soul/rock mixed in to make it something I actually want to listen to. It's wall to wall hooks.
Screw all your pretenses of what makes a "great" album - this album is fun and larger than life. Enjoy it if you haven't already.

This is the stuff that dreams are made of. So sexy and cool like a Marvin Gaye or Barry White album but with a better production and a more amazing hook. Cee-Lo's voice is at the top of his game and the album has that retro vibe so perfectly established that you will not be able to escape. When I was listening to Old fashioned I realized that I haven't listened a song so perfectly named like that.
