The perfect dream pop album. Beach House makes music that is amazingly ethereal while still being present which is something other bands in the same vein don't always succeed in doing.

Very pleasant to listen to. Very consistent. Songs would need to be musically developed more to truly be a must-have album. 8.5/10.

Another great record from Beach House that has some huge highlights but also a few filler songs which could be cut. When they get their style right it sounds absolutely phenomenal on here and they end up getting it right for about 70% of the record. It can be a little varied in places which leads to it being a bit more inconsistent to Bloom making that album feel more cohesive and like a better record. This album is still very appealing with the two opening songs and the closing track being 3 of the duos best ever songs. These tracks capture the groups style perfectly and are a testament to how brilliant the duo are. I love the dreamy atmosphere they create on here as well as it drags me in every time I listen to this album and I find myself getting lost in the music. Overall, this is a great record whose highlights can compete with the best of the genre but their filler holds them back from reaching those heights on here.

Comparing it to Bloom they are very similar albums, but Teen Dream seems a bit more underwhelming, albeit maybe a little more diverse.

The creative peak of Beach House. An exquisite and beautiful ode to teenage love and introspection. One of the highlights of the entire decade.

Solid album

On the one hand, it was pleasant to listen to. On the other hand, I couldn’t remember a single aspect of the record five minutes after finishing it.

Qué buena suerte de este album, pues justo se lleva 85 puntos, al borde de los 80. Es un album al que le tenía una gran expectativa. Es mucho más calmado que la mayoría de discos que he escuchado. Inicia genial con Zebra, la mejor canción, y termina bien con Take Care, mi segunda canción favorita. En general tiene buenas canciones, muy disfrutables pues son más que todo para estar relajado y descansar. Una gran demostración del dream pop en lo que es quizá el disco más representativo del género.
