I do my best not to hate on entire genres, and surely there must be some quality work in this one. But this album simply isn't it. It exemplifies everything people hold against mumble rap. The vocals are about as annoying as I can imagine, and the bars only make it worse. I'll never understand the chirping noises he makes. Like he just needs some unique trademark sound and that's the best he could come up with. Tracks with a unique word count lower than anything I've ever encountered. "Wake up" really stands out in this regard.
The only saving grace is that the production is nothing offensive so it gets 5/100 for that reason. It's not my thing, but that's irrelevant. That's only worth 5 points to me cause I'm more concerned with the artist whose name is on the cover, and Xan doesn't really bring anything to the table. You could put almost any random 12 year old on these beats and get a better result. It's so bad that words like repulsive and offensive don't really cut it.
