A welcome reprieve from the nonstop party that is Erotica. Even if it doesn't quite have the instantaneous heights of Madonna's best work, the subdued, nocturnal grooves and mediation on love and desire are a good fit for Madonna.

Grande álbum. Sensual pra caramba!
Smooth R&B with some surprises (the ambient house, Björk-penned title track for instance). My favourite track is the big middle finger ("Human Nature") to the traditionalists who tried to stall her career during her "Erotica" era. It's quite strong and subdued, and is further evidence that Madonna's best decade was actually the 90s, where her pop gained artistic prowess.
I like this one a lot. The R&B vibes surprisingly suit her really well, and Madonna effortlessly glides over the smooth production. Elsewhere we have convincing pop ballads and even some ambient house-y pop on the very interesting title track, retrospectively a great precursor to 1998's "Ray of Light". I really appreciate Madonna's work throughout the 90s and this solid album is a testament to that opinion.
I am listening to this album right now and this is really good! Mixes a lot of groove and down tempo. Also the title track is on some ambient techno. Wish I heard this sooner.
A beautiful album. Starts off slow and just gets better and better. Spans many genres and also remains humble. Although most people don't want quiet or humble from Madonna that's what she delivered and it worked perfectly. The last two tracks are the best ones, in my opinion.

Madonna's 2nd best album I.M.O. I really like the way the final few tracks blend into each other for the last 22 mins. starting with Forbidden Love - Love Tried To Welcome Me - Sanctuary - Bedtime Story & Live To Tell a fantastic 5 track mini album with Madonna at her best singing about love/sex. The album also contains forgotten gems Survival, Secret and Inside Of Me.
A fine album from Madonna, possibly her best.
Possibly her best album ever, filled with gems, her vocals are to die for. Also the only album where she sounded incredibly current at the time.
Wonderful singles 'Take A Bow' and 'Secret' but a bit weak NON-single material. Among non-single tracks I adore 'Forbidden Love' (should've been a single). 'Survival' and 'Don't Stop' are good though
