New York's The Essex Green's first album in 12 years is rather good making the long wait well worth it
The tracks are classic Essex Green chock full of 60's inspired pop hooks and sweet melodies , highlights include rollicking opener "Sloane Ranger" , single "Don't Leave It in Our Hands" , the country and western tinged "Bye Bye Crow" and beautiful closer "Bristol Sky" . The remaining tracks are really enjoyable also
Big surprise this one , a pleasant surprise
