Some of the songs on this album are up there with the very best that James have ever made... This group gets better and better... Criminally underrated...
This is the worst James album ... I say that as a James fan who thinks all their (previous) albums are filled with catchy melodies and wonderful ideas. This is just a clanger. Couldn’t resonate with it... do I need to be a middle-aged dad? This one came with a Father’s Day card (criiinge). I loved La Petite Mort and GATEOTW and Hey Ma gets regular plays from me.
