As a GOY fan I am pretty disappointed by this one

For starters are they still making these MTV Unplugged things ? I know they were huge in the 90's but this is 2018 . I thought MTV had gone off the rails making god awful reality shows that no-body watched or even cared about ? The last MTV Unplugged I watched or cared about was R.E.M Unplugged way back in 2001

Secondly the cynic in me can't help but think this is nothing more than a XMAS ploy to milk every last bit of juice from the 'Go Farther ..' lemon . One word sums up my thoughts - WHY ?

Thirdly , do not watch the concert it self . Yew it's just awful , there's Dave trying to croon and awkwardly gyrate amongst a stage of 1000 clique roses whilst the seated audience sit perplexed and who may as well have been card board cut outs . Trust me viewer discretion is advised

Look , the music is ok , just ok .... but ultimately a pale imitation of the full versions

TBH I think even GOY are a little embarrassed by this whole "affair"

Give this one a wide berth and listen to the studio albums instead
