What an album, packed full of killer riffs and catchy tunes, no filler here just pure power indie pop. Should be ranked way higher.

Bostons Slothrust here on album number 4 deliver yet again with 12 cracking tracks that traverse a broad musical spectrum from the slow burn that is opener "Double Down" , to the indie pop styling of "Peach" , the rocker "Planetarium" , the straight up ballad "Walk Away" , album highlight "Birthday Cake" that spits with venom , mid tempo "For Robin" , the haunting "The Haunting" and the sad "Some Kind of Cowgirl" ( not to be confused with Mitsi's 'Be The Cowboy') ... it's all here with never a dull moment
Lead vocalist Leah Wellbaum again steals the show with her vocal range and energy
Slothrust are getting better with each subsequent release and I can't wait for their next album which hopefully should break them to a wider audience . They are right on the cusp of greatness.
75/100
