I’ll admit that you could do a whole fridge magnet poetry thing about music with me, just picking a random country and genre, and get me interested immediately. “Iranian hardcore techno” is one such phrase that had me hooked before I’d even listened, but thankfully the end product is equally remarkable. Abrasive, metallic and dizzying.
Best track: Side B. On a trackless two-sided cassette, I don’t really have an option for best track here, but things really kick in at the start of side B.
