I love when a band doesn't peak on its first album. Shovels and Rope just keeps getting better. This may be their best album and they are 5 albums in, 8 if you count their cover albums. In any case, By Blood is awesome!

Really enjoyed this one as my 1st Shovels & Rope album. The best is kept for last with the powerful title track "By Blood"
