This album is perfect and is way better than anything Pink Floyd or the Beatles have ever released

As the more elitist Knowles I didn't much like her "experiments" on A Seat at the Table, but she made her jokes land with me on this one, even though she might take it dead serious - how can you not crack up at the part of her film when "Sound of Rain" is played. Just experimental enough to call it different, just hip hop enough to be relevant, the interludes just harmonious enough not to skip them; as an album it is perfect, as music it is fucking great. I don't expect to see this become hugely influential, but it should.

Strikingly beautiful, easy to play on repeat, simply some of the coolest music ever made.
Nice work, with every track I wanted to listen more. Beautiful voice!

Some sweet grooves. Fun to listen to. I’m not sure I agree with the inclusion of all the interludes but to each their own. A very crisp and clean sounding album.

Solange, Beyoncé's sister is back. Despite the presence of too many interludes breaking the rhythm, Solange's disc is a pleasant surprise that mixes jazz, soul, R&B on which we feel many references 70's including "Way to the Show" or "My Skin My Logo" ", sips of bass. Thanks to this last piece, the singer offers herself a duet with Gucci Mane while the very good "Almeda" allows him to highlight with pride his African-American origins. With sober productions and somewhat repetitive lyrics, "When I Get Home" nevertheless allows Beyoncé's sister to unfold as never before in the midst of pure productions. Personally, I'm happy because Playboi Carti and Tyler are on the album. In short, very good album from Solange.

Good album, but lacks the high points that made a Seat at the Table really special. Like the abstractness a lot, though.
