The Elvis catalogue is simply gi-normus with (as of April 2019) 114 Albums on BEA alone and as such it can be quite daunting to zero in to find a simple Elvis Best Of or Greatest Hits package. But fear not , the answer you seek is right here in the wonderful 2019 release 'Elvis The Best Of The '68 Comeback Special'

The 68 Comeback Special as it is known was a television special starring singer Elvis Presley (obviously) which aired on NBC December 3, 1968. It was remarkable because it marked Presley's return to live performances after a seven absence during which his career centred on a movie career

The show consisted of a sit-down section, stand-up numbers and two musicals. The sit-down session showcased Presley in an informal setting, surrounded by fans and a small band. The stripped sound, and intimate atmosphere would become the forerunner to MTV Unplugged. The special's final running time was 50 minutes, edited from four hours of taping.

And ALL the mega hits are here in 18 remastered tracks including 'Heartbreak Hotel' , 'Hound Dog' , 'Can't Help Falling in Love' and 'Love Me Tender' just to name a few. But my 2 personal favourites are 2 cracking renditions of "A Little Less Conversation" and the timeless "Suspicious Minds"
