If you want to get into Rory more, the best of the studio albums IMO is tattoo. Cradle rock is simply an amazing track. Check out taste as well, his band before going solo
Embarrassingly I own no Rory Gallagher music, so corrected that with this album, and I am very happy with my purchase. The guitar playing is sublime and the vinyl presentation is excellent in the triple gatefold. Lots of previously unheard music on here by all accounts, but all sounds fresh and exciting. This Blues set would be a must for fans, and if like me you’re starting on your Rory Gallagher journey this is not a bad place to start. I will be exploring more of this man’s music as a result of this purchase.
