Noah Kahan debuts with an indie-folk-pop record induced with a modern sound. At best, he crafts some amazingly catchy songs, guaranteed to give everyone a good time. At worst, he gives us overproduced pop pieces with very little to say.
Sadly, after a promising beginning, the album quickly turns into a very mainstream guitar pop. Kahan's voice is very similar to other popular singer-songwriters these days, so he doesn't even stick out in that department. Overall, there's little in this album that would make Kahan better or more special than his peers.
