Pretty good (though not quite "great") lo-fi, minimalist, Pavement-influenced indie guitar band from Brooklyn; they've been getting a bit more sophisticated, musical, and even a bit math-rocky lately, but on this — their debut album — it's still just the basics, complete with the laconic, detached lead vocals and general lack of effects processing. You have to earn the right to be "angular," you know — it's not something you can just do right off the bat, or you might get in trouble with the Angle Police.
