Sometimes it sounds good, sometimes just the cliche´ of Progressive-Rock.

This Heavy Metal Opera came out years before Avantasia, Avalon, and AINA put out their concept records. Arjen has a lot of great narrative chops in between progressive rock and space rock-inspired heavy metal. This is his best album for a good reason.
Brilliant album. Production wise, it was a clear step up on Actual Fantasy. Possibly the only criticism is that at 104 minutes it goes on a little too long. And it is not really an album that one can pick and choose tracks as there is commentary in between.
