Shortlisted for album of the year at the Grammys in 1975. The winner was Fulfiilingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
There are glimpses where Denver will "light up your senses" (Annie's Song) but most of the record feels like you're kissing Aunt Lou. Eeu! (Grandpa's Feather Bed).

It's a shame that Denver is often overlooked when people rank the greatest songwriters of all time. There aren't many singers out there with a songbook as great as his
Grandma's Feather Bed is one of the all time great songs.
