This is a spellbinding example of harmonics and melodies that are so good that they will be played as long as we love music. America is one of my favorite bands ever since a friend of mine loaned some of his brother's records, and America's Greatest Hits was one of them. Rest is history for me..

It's a good album with some really awesome tracks, but it does have some weaker ones. The first three songs are awesome.

I'm a sucker for harmonies and America knows how to do them well. On the first album I really only liked A Horse With No Name and I Need You but this album is nearly without any flaws, whether it is on slows or harder edged tracks. Of course the best harmonies are to be found on Ventura Highway, a gem of a song, but I nearly like every track here (maybe except for Head And Heart).
