The soundtrack for "American Graffiti" came out this same year. It has 41 tracks, this one has 40. Both albums even have some of the same songs. However, that was the bigger movie and has the better OST too. The last quarter of this one has new songs from the movie, mostly from Billy Fury. And they are good, but not as good as most of the 50's and 60's classics, so bring the average down. Still, despite the obvious comparison to that other soundtrack, this one is very good. Just too bad it's never been released on CD - although the vast majority of tracks can be found elsewhere. Maybe best known for the original "Rock On" by David Essex which was ahead of its time for sure.
