Maceo Parker took a sojourn from his role in the backing band of James Brown's Band, The JB's, and took a couple of other JB's along with him - here he is accompanied by Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley along with other musicians in this 1991 release on Verve/Minor Music Records (Cat # 314 511 068-2). His light funk touch is experienced here throughout each selection. Very rewarding.
