"Silhouettes" is limited by poor decisions. The male vocals are painfully flat. Every track with these loses it composure as soon as they hit. In general, the lyricism is edgy love-pain connection themes. It's lacks the vocal performance or wit to derive suffering or sexuality out of them. There is the hilarious "Wilhelm Scream" which samples the iconic sound effect within an otherwise clean synth instrumental. The result is unintentionally hilarious. Despite these issues, the production is very good. There is a variety to the song structure and coolness to the synths. Even with good bones, the negative choices inflict too much damage to the record.
