Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 78.5/100, a mean average of 77.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.0.

Some very interesting beats and ideas. Tyler shows no sign of stopping.
Lovin this album. It really grew on me. I like the two long songs, but my favourites are probably Wusyaname and Hot Wind Blows. The production is obviously the best part, but i also like the story. 9/10 and tylers second best (behind IGOR)
“Call Me If You Get Lost” really embraces its travel theme. Each track glides gracefully into the next like pictures in a vacation slideshow. DJ Drama’s excitement adds a special feeling to the beginning and ending of every track. The beats are creative and well connected but often lack a certain punch to take them to the next level. Tyler’s lyrics are extremely effective when coming from a personal perspective. The storytelling on “Wilshire” is easily the most powerful part of the album. The more boastful tracks lack a bombast necessary to be memorable. There are not many lines that stick in your head after the song ends. Fun, but not extraordinary.
It's OK. I may have to listen to it again to give it proper judgement.
Man, I feel like a lot of people don't realise how great this album is, Tyler weaves a poignant narrative about a love triangle together with braggadocio and consistently has great lyrics and production that are both timeless and modern. Whilst he isn't as vulnerable and raw as Igor, or melodic and pop-friendly as Flower Boy, CMIYGL should be praised for being an incredibly well-executed album from a man who is a master of all his crafts. This may even be his best album.
Not bad but not great, in my opinion. Nothing I dislike but nothing I love either. Energy is lacking where it seems like it should be at the forefront and the sincerity doesn't work for me that well. Maybe I'm missing something but this doesn't sound like something we haven't heard before like Igor or Flower Boy were to an extent. I'm personally a little tired of the relentless persona pushing that has gone on for the last few albums from Tyler. I think it works if you're a Tyler stan but it leaves me wishing that he'd talk about something else for once.
As inserções musicais são ótima! Meio bossa, meio R&B... Belíssimas.
I prefered Igor and Flower boy but it is still a great album by Tyler. My favourite songs are I thought you wanted to dance and Wilshire.
Highlights:
- Corso
- Wusyaname
- Lumberjack
- Manifesto
- Sweet / I Thought You Wanted To Dance
- Wilshire
