"Techno Man's Land" starts hit or miss. Many of the early tracks have a vague spacey atmosphere that is difficult to invest in. The B side hits and the album really comes into its own. Diverse and dynamic soundscapes are formed flirting with Drum n bass, house, and video games soundtracks. "Self- Annihilation" has heavy bubbling synths interacting with nimble electronic melodies creating visions of an evil lab. The album definitely needed some cuts but it's successes show a bright future for E-Talking.
