Seven years into her career, Loretta Lynn remains the most important female in country music, after Maybelle Carter.
Lynn delivers a solid set of country music here, mostly covers of classic country songs. Though certainly not an essential piece of work, this is a decent introduction to rural country music for an uninformed listener.
