A new album from the king of the neo-traditional singer-songwriters who had a successful career in country music.
It's more of the same on this project from Jackson, but it's so well produced and executed. Jackson's voice sounds as good as ever, and he croons his way through lots of mid-tempo heartfelt songs that actually were really enjoyable. At over 83 minutes I expected to get tired halfway through, but the decent material kept me on board. This is the best neo traditional country album of 2021.
