Industrial... psychobilly...? Points for predicting electro-swing, but novelty aside, this record is frequently annoying. I enjoy a few of the less swing-oriented tracks (I'll Meet You in Poland Baby," "Cold Day in Hell") that point towards Reznor's early work, but the swing tracks are just insufferable. A lot of that is due to Thirwell's overzealous vocals, which get tiring fast. I hope I never have to hear the song "Hot Horse" again in my life.
