His 3rd solo album and the first where he ventured more into a hard rock blues style. The great thing with him is that all instruments are given equal measure, not a trait most guitar kings have as most are very self centered. One of the greatest and most underrated bluesmen ever. He's fucking great. Nice one Rory, nice one son.
This was the first Rory Gallagher album I bought, I got it brand new on vinyl and absolutely love it. Classic blues. Last track on side one is superb with the blend of blues piano, rhythmic drums and bass with lead guitar soloing over the top. Rory was an amazing guitarist which is proven by the different themes on this lp.
