Liner notes which accompanied this album: "Charlie Byrd began recording the "Great Chefs" soundtracks for PBS television in 1983 with the San Francisco series. He continued through the New Orleans, Chicago and Southwest series. There are no individual tunes but a compilation of the best melodies throughout 65 episodes." Released by Leisure Records in 1988 (Cat#: 0 4900-91050-2) this album is terrific to relax and enjoy while munching on your favorite meal with loved ones. Authenticated by discogs.com
