Sure, it LOOKS bad, but looks can be deceiving. Not in this case though, because it really kind of sounds bad too. If you like strange and unusual instrumentation you might find it interesting, though the results tend to be indistinguishable from an Indian raga sound on most tracks, or an "island" sound on others. And he doesn't have a bad singing voice, either - he just doesn't know how to sing properly. If you see an original vinyl copy somewhere for cheap, buy it - in VG+ condition it could be worth hundreds of dollars, but otherwise it's just another 60s oddity. (Though I still like him a lot better than that guy who married Whitney Houston.)
