A great continuation of Foxtails since they came to emo prominence with 2017's III. Ego death is a great opener, and Space Orphan and la belle indifference are nice moments following. However, Fawn is clearly entangled in all the crap that came out about Megan at the end of 2021, which led to Foxtails being dropped from the Touche Amore tour. I am not going to pontificate about it much more than simply acknowledging there is a contested set of allegations, handled relatively poorly too, but ultimately just way too interpersonally complicated to deal with. Still, it hangs over this release and clouds it a little.
