“Regards to the End” has a rare sound. It is a fantastic combination of swelling strings and prodding synths. This creates a unique atmosphere between intimate and bombastic. Unfortunately, the song structures are not built to enhance this. It will build and build and then the music will end without a climax. The lack of closure creates an Achilles heel for an otherwise promising album.
