60s and 70s flutist Herbie Mann was still cranking out jazz/samba laced albums throughout the 80s, and this was the latest of that decade. Released in 1989 on Gaia Records (Cat#: 13-9020-2) this nine track album features all the styles the listener has come to expect from Mann. There is a definite South of the Border feel to the entire album. Mann's skill as an arranger and interpreter are unmatched by any other flutist on the planet. Authenticated on discogs.com
