Not gonna lie this is mostly boring music taking itself way too seriously. To offer a sketch of thoughts: Sentai Quarry is fun full commitment emo; the Parannoul feature is sad; Maromi is intense in a way that other tracks lack but doesn't go anywhere; the end of Coma... holds some interest but sounds too much like an early draft; and While of Unsound Mind is cute. Nouns is good when they get quiet and melodic, but maybe only because it's a reprieve from weak uselessly bombastic screamo. To see the other side is at least genuinely dramatic and actually BIG sounding, it really dwarves the album, makes the rest of the track-listing feel scrawny. This is at least a band with good taste trying something genuine, they just aren't there yet.
